Dr. Karen Jordan, Licensed Psychologist
Founder and Chief Psychologist
Dr. Karen Jordan is licensed as a psychologist in both Kansas and Missouri. She founded Jordan Psychological Center in 2007 and has been providing services to children and families in the Kansas City area since then. She has been a practicing clinical psychologist for over 25 years.
Dr. Jordan received her master's degree in community clinical psychology in 1993 and her doctorate in clinical psychology in 1995 from the University of Maryland. She completed her internship at Taylor Manor Hospital. She has worked as a psychologist providing assessment and treatment at the University of Washington's LEARN Clinic and at DePaul University. She has extensive experience with assessment and treatment of autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities, as well as other psychological and behavioral issues such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
Dr. Jordan also has a specialty in the assessment of giftedness. She previously served on the board of Blue Valley Parent Advocates for Gifted Education (BVPAGE).
Dr. Jordan is a member of the American Psychological Association and a registrant of the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. She also has been granted the authority to practice interjurisdictional telepsychology (APIT) by PSYPACT (Mobility Number: 18017).
