Taylor Guhin, Postdoctoral Fellow

Taylor Guhin (she/her/hers) is completing her postdoctoral fellowship at Jordan Psychological Center. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Iowa in 2016, her master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of St. Thomas in 2018, and will graduate with her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri- Kansas City in December 2025. Taylor completed her pre-doctoral internship at University Health in Kansas City, Missouri. She is currently completing her postdoctoral fellowship at Jordan Psychological Center. 

During her pre-doctoral internship, Taylor received training in providing adult inpatient treatment and conducting psychological assessments for personality disorders. Also, she provided outpatient therapy services to adults with a wide variety of concerns and diagnoses. Taylor’s training has included working with a wide variety of clients, ranging from young children to the aging population. She has worked in a broad range of therapy settings, including inpatient, outpatient, school, community-based, and private practice clinics. Taylor has received specialized training in conducting psychological assessments, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Behavior Therapy. She has experience working with a variety of diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and bipolar disorder. Taylor enjoys providing therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults using a person-centered, holistic approach.
